There's always talk about how Black History Month doesn't get any love, in which I agree, but Nike has heard our cry and is showing Black History Month some love this year. Nike is finally acknowledging that the Blacks in sports have a powerful impact on
their products. They have been inspired by athletes like Soccer superstar Didier Drogba, tennis star Serena Williams, and basketball player Kevin Durant. The collection includes seven
shoes, two T-shirts, a Destroyer jacket, Nike Elite socks, and 5-panel
hat, the collection is a dual effort between Nike Sportswear lifestyle
product and Nike Basketball performance product. Nike Sportswear BHM
shoes include the Nike Lunar Force 1, Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Hi,
Nike Dunk Sky Hi and Nike Air Force 1 Downtown. Nike Basketball shoes complete the BHM collection with special versions of the KD V, LeBron X
and KOBE 8 SYSTEM; all three featuring black, grey and orange with the
signature Nike BHM print. There is no better time to drop this collection, it Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President Barak Obama's 2nd inauguration, and the Black History Month Nike collection. Can't get any better than this.
Drops today January 21,2013
